Benoȋt Prévot's Latest Work

Benoȋt isn't saying who the commission was for. Click to enlarge.

All I can say is that the man is a true artist. Everything looks so perfect and finished. I adore the colors and the attention to details! One can feel the life in the man and the dog, as well as the creature sneaking out behind the cactus in the background. Look at the subtle expression on the man's face; is it trepidation, worry, fear? Is the hound leading him to safety or peril? Does the creature in the background threaten them? Overall, the drawing is so intriguing! I'm just dying to know more!

Art Imitating Life

I don't know if you've been following what has been happening over at House of Vader, but Benoȋt Prévot has done a small design to perfectly illustrate the event. It is brilliant!

Benoȋt Prévot: The Man and His Art

This post tells a story about the artist Benoȋt Prévot. Yesterday evening, I visited his blog and he had written a long post in French with the phrase "quitte mon blog," and I freaked because in the past he had dissappeared and reopened in another blog. So I quickly wrote a comment asking if this was goodbye. He wrote back that he was blue and completely bored with everything on his drawing board except for the work with Slick It Up but it was so nice of me to comment. He was only signing off for the evening, since it was so late. [Thank goodness for that!]

I think we should all visit his blog and try to cheer him up!

The artist in a Slick It Up hood. Doesn't he look fabulous! What a hottie!

Benoȋt Prévot Art for Slick It Up

This gorgeous work of art was done by Benoȋt Prévot for Slick It Up. Once again, we can see the action in the forground of a man wearing SIU's hood, gloves, jock and t-shirt, while the shadow in the negative space is holding a whip. M. Prévot stays true to form in his art while producing a quality work for his client. Visit his blog and website to see much more.

The Art of Benoit Prevot an Encore

I am in love with the art work of Benoit Prevot! Unfortunately he keeps moving his blog. What a bad artist! But nothing worthwhile is ever easy. Some of these drawings are also from his website, benoitprevot.com. Click on the images to enlarge. Enjoy!

His most recent drawing from the Angelface comics is above.

Monsieur Prevot loves to use shadow to show us what is really happening behind the foreground action, as we have seen before.
This last drawing is also from his blog. Poor bunny!

Benoit Prévot Designs for Slick It Up

Benoit Prévot created this design for his blog banner as well as for Slick It Up. He met with David Mason at his studio recently while David was in Paris to photograph François Sagat. We will all have to watch for it in SIU's products.
I just love the image! Enlarge it and you can appreciate the Art Deco elements in the cracking stone work. Gorgeous!

Angleface #1 by Benoit Prevot

I am so excited I just ordered Angelface #1 by Benoit Prevot! I got turned on to Monsieur Prevot by David Mason of Slick It Up fame. anyhow, here is some of the artwork by Benoit and a summary of the story:

Two friends rob a jewellery store in London and lay their hands on a small fortune. After a wild night of lustfull celebrations, Red wakes up to find "Angelface" has taken off with the loot! Not one to let his fortunes vanish, Red follows a steamy trail of clues to a ship headed to the States while Allan screws his way across the ocean. Allan arrives in Manhatten looking like a million bucks… but with a dangerous game ahead of him. Beautifully written and illustrated by French artist Benoît Prévot, Angelface is a series set in an era of prohibition, swing, speak easies and loose morals! A fantastic journey that intertwines elegance with erotica no fan of Class Comics will want to be without.

I just love the 20's Art Deco style of this guy's drawings and their similarity to Oliver Frey's. His characters are handsome and quite intriguing. I can't wait until it arrives! You can order this comic here.
