Yes, today was the day. I was up at 3 AM this morning waiting to be collected - where I went the 2 hour drive to Gansbaai to do my Shark Cage dive. Then off on the boat, miles out to sea. What an awesome experience as we are lowered into the cage and then down under the water. They bait them with large portions of fish and man ..... well I think the pictures speak for themselves.
He lived to tell the tale! Phew! I was worried!
Dillon can be seen this weekend at the SAleathermen Hellfire Club Party at Station Bar in Centurion on Friday, 30 January 2009.
Fortunately, Dillon is all rested after his vacation in South Africa. You can read all about that on his blog and see the photos!

I was worried about our boy too! Those sharks are so scary!
Great photos!
I love Dillon's blog! Great pics
I would wet my wet suit! Even barracudas scare me! You would do that Cristiano??? Not me! I would rather swim with whale sharks. That is more spectacular and much safer.
Yikes....Fierce looking creatures and totally unpredictable....We may not be the preferred food source but I don't want to even tempt them...LOL
I'm jealous of Dillon he gets to have all the fun. Closest I'll get to that expirence is playing in a bubble bath with rubber sharks.
He seems to be quite adventurous.
