Star Trek Rules!

Well, I decided to head over to the local multiplex this afternoon and check out the Star Trek matinee. I must say, I really enjoyed it! If you have ever watched the original Star Trek series on television and it made you smile at all, then you will probably just love this movie!



The cleverness is in the casting of each major crew member and introducing them into the life of the Enterprise. The relationship between Spock and Kirk is developed from its origin and was fascinating (picture eyebrow raise).




Eric Bana was a great choice as villain, but should have been given more screen time. There is a rumor that he has a great body, but you would never know it from this film. Wasted asset is what I say.

It was chock full of fun little informational goodies and memorable one liners. It is a must see for any bona fide Trekkie! And a pretty damn good movie to boot!
