This music video is dedicated to Synrgy, who is looking into learning Salsa. I first saw Marc Anthony perform this song on the Today Show. I began to pour as he sang, and like a true entertainer, he stood out in the rain and sang his heart out to his nearly hysterical fans. Now, I am one of them too. [I sure wish I had studied Spanish, though this particular song is in English many of his songs are not.] Enjoy the video.

When this song came out in 1970 I was 14 and in turmoil over my parents' divorce. I listened to it from my small transitor radio as I sat in my sycamore tree with no one to comfort me and tears poured from my eyes. I found comfort in this song.

For those of you who find this time of year difficult, for whatever reason, be it the shortness of the days, or that you cannot be with loved ones, or that you have lost a loved one, or that you are ill and/or in pain, or short on funds, I hope you find comfort in this song as I did long ago.
