Brenton's Pole Routine

You've got to see this incredible routine performed by Brenton! He begins in a kilt with BOOTS! Unbelievable strength is required to do moves with boots on and Brenton brings his legs over his head WITH BOOTS ON!!!! I know this because I used to be a gymnast and even shoes made things very difficult indeed. The only problem I have with the routine is that when he finally looses the kilt, he is not wearing it in the traditional manner; with nothing under it!

Technical Difficulties at Aussielicious: UPDATE: WORKING NOW

[AUSSIELICIOUS.jpg]

I just received an email from Brenton saying that he has been having trouble for the last couple of days with a potential hacker and his server company has taken his server down. It should be resolved very soon. In the meantime, he asks that we please stand by.

Aussielicious Film Festival

Brenton of Aussielicious needs our help:

I’m throwing down a new challenge. There are so many talented, creative, witty, bizarre people out there and these days just about everyone has access to a webcam, video camera or even a phone with video capability. So, inspired by the likes of Scenic Boys who make great videos and the myriad of quirky and beautiful things on youtube, I’m holding the first annual Aussielicious Film Festival.

I want you all to send in your videos, preferably uploaded to Youtube or Dailymotion, making them embeddable so I can post them here. They need to come in under two minutes. The theme? I want you to make a short film that captures your personal definition or understanding of the word Aussielicious. I don’t mean this blog, just the word and what it means to you. Below is one of the ways I interpret Aussielicious, it’s me, and it’s nude and it’s the Aussie sunshine.

Here are the rules. It must be under two minutes, contain no explicit content (ie hard ons), be submitted by midnight Friday 31 October Australian Eastern Daylight Savings time and be entertaining. Entries will be posted on Aussielicious for the world to see.

Narcissus in Top Shape

Brenton from Aussielicious did a photo shoot of Narcissus from Synthetic Ego after Narcissus competed in an all natural body building event and was in top shape recently. Here are some of the photos for your enjoyment.

Strip for us you hottie!

That is what I'm talking about!

I am just dying to know what these medals are Narcissus!

Now, now. No reason to be bashful. You deserved them. You worked your butt off for them.

That's right sweetie, look at the camera. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Show us that gorgeous bod! Woof!

Uh oh! Time for a bath!

Thanks Brenton for sending me the photos!

Blogger Narcissus Identity Revealed

I just received these photos from Brenton, who did the photo shoot earlier today. They are of blogger Narcissus of Synthetic Ego fame. Narcissus is a natural bodybuilder who is currently in competition and winning in Australia. He is planning on competing in the Australasian Championship, which should take place this coming weekend. Good luck Narcissus!

He's kind of cute too. Don't you think? Visit his blog; it may blow your mind. He is not as innocent as he looks. But then again, who is?

A Pair of Awesome Aussie Blogs

Trevor, Christiaan and the White Wolf

Fair View welcomes new links Superchilled and The Patient Man! Trevor, the author of Superchilled, is an avid swimmer and photographer. He supports himself by working as a physician and his blog features Race Around the World segments where readers guess where photos are from and Wild Wednesdays where Trevor challenges readers to do things that are outside of their ordinary world and a bit scary. He also fills us in on events in his life that include his Aussie pals, most notably Brenton and Christiaan, and other stuff that amuses him and will amuse you too.

Christiaan is The Patient Man and works as a fashion designer. He is extremely imaginative and writes very well. In one post, he pictures himself as King and Brenton as Crown Prince, with only the crown jewels covering his crown jewels. I find this trés amusant! (Of course one troll commenter took the whole thing seriously. How droll!) Christiaan loves to play on the beach with the wet wolf and scope out gorgeous half naked surfers with buttery blond hair. We have so much in common! It is just amazing!

So check out both awesome Aussie blogs and enjoy!

Pieces of Eight

Okay. I was fairly tagged by Ryan over at Stunning Sexy Guys. Anyhow, here are eight things that you don't know about me:

1) The owner of my husbands’ architectural firm (in the 80’s) broke my left index finger playing volleyball, when I went down to dig a return and he jumped up over me in a vain effort to make a return. I never told him and just grinned and bore it. Shortly thereafter I had an interview to be a safety coordinator and went to it with my fingers all taped up. I got the job anyhow.

2) I developed small stretch marks on my upper thighs when I was 16 and weighed all of 95 pounds (43 kgs). I noticed them during synchronized swim practice and was really upset. They are the only stretch marks I have today at age 50 and 115 pounds (52 kgs).

3) I studied the French language in junior and senior high school and in college. This is about all I can manage: Bonjour Jeanne. Comment vas tu? Très bien merci et tois? Pas mal merci…But, drop me in France and it all comes back to me pretty quickly.

4) I currently volunteer for 2 hours a week at my local library where I put protective covers on hard cover and paperback books. I also apply spine labels and bar code labels. I love working there. Yesterday they offered me a job that would entail using the computer. But I told them I could not work for money or I would lose my Social Security Disability paycheck but asked that they teach me to use the computer anyhow. They are looking into it.

5) During one summer home from college, I climbed really high up in my favorite sycamore tree. A tree branch snapped under one of my feet and I plunged through the tree with branches snapping across my back the whole way down. At last there were only a few branches left to go and I caught the last two with my hands to keep me from hitting the ground. I had fallen a good 15 – 20 feet. So I hung there for a while and then dropped out of the tree and went into the house. My mom was there and saw me and said, “Susie, what happened? You are white as a sheet.” I explained and she couldn’t believe it until she saw the red marks across my back where the branches had hit me. (Did I ever mention that I was a gymnast on the uneven parallel bars?)

6) Sean and I were demolishing a fireplace hearth where a wood stove once sat from our living room. We had already used a jackhammer to loosen the bricks and we were grabbing armfuls and dumping them off of the porch. Sean had just come back in and told me not to lean on the porch railing because it was really weak and I knew it was not supported by any balusters. So, stupid me, what is the first thing I go and do? I grab an armload of bricks and swing the load weight and mine right off the porch and through the god dam railing and the railing gives way, of course. I let go of the bricks and go flying off the porch. But I had the wherewithal to grab the post as I was flying off into space and that swung me around and back towards the porch where my knees slammed into the porch floor, as I grabbed the opposite rail. There I hung while Sean ran out of the house and grabbed my wrists and exclaimed, “I’ve got you!!!” But, my toes were on the ground anyhow. (Did I ever mention that I was a gymnast on the uneven parallel bars?)

7) I used to be quite the artist. It all started when I was quite young and continued through my adulthood where at I participated in shows at my company and at local museums. I used to do pen and ink, water color, and sculpture. Pointillism with a fine point ink pen was a particular specialty of mine. But that all ended after my brain surgery. I had some hand tremors and loss of hand eye coordination that make me unsure of the result. My hand writing is far worse than it was before by surgery and on some days I could not even use chop sticks. Using those as indicators gives me pause as to how good my drawings might be. Someday perhaps I will get back to it as I gradually improve over time.

8) I just started riding my bicycle again. I had stopped after my surgery because my balance wasn’t good enough. I would get on and just fall right over to the right. I tried again a couple of years later and just felt too shaky to be comfortable riding. Well, it is good enough now to ride my Reagan era Peugeot mountain bike and I am hoping that riding it will improve my balance. I am a bit shaky yet. Some day I will get back on my carbon fiber Trek touring bike, even if it kills me.

I tag:

Peter at Tipping the Scales who has his surgery today. GOOD LUCK Peter! Do this meme when you can dear!

Okay Boys, Time to Strip!

That's right! Take it all off and then take a photo of yourself for Aussielicious' Public Nudity Challenge! The contest is ongoing and a number of entrants are in the running. My favorite so far is the one below:

This is Mike, who left his office, and used the CCTV cameras to tape himself naked and proud of it, thank you very much! Can you imagine explaining that to the security office???? I guess he is just very lucky no one came along. Great job Mike!!!!

Okay, so this isn't that hard to do and it could be fun. I have been thinking about how I could do it in my town. Of course at night, everything is easier, but you do lose points for nighttime shoots. Remote locations are fine, but again, you do lose points. Gees, guys, how can you resist this challenge?

By the way, the Challenge ends on JULY 31st. That's not much time to go. Prizes will be determined by Brenton. Gee, I hope they are something great!

Pleasant Dreams

This gentleman is Brenton, whom I have just today declared the king of the pretty tushie. I think you will all agree, but let me know your thoughts.

Rock Out the Vote (For the Bloggies)

I think that voting is very important for everyone on Earth. Well, at least I used to. Then I visited the Seventh Annual Weblog Awards to see who the nominees were and was pretty disappointed. Some folks were snubbed and responded accordingly. Overall, it seemed to me that the nominees were chosen by teenage girls. Not that there is anything wrong with teenage girls, but do we really want them to run everything?

Thankfully, teenage girls have no interest in the following catagories in which I would appreciate your votes if you feel so inclined:

Best Australian or New Zealand Blog: Aussielicious

(Congratulations Brenton!!!)

Best Weblog About Politics: Daily Kos

(Congratulations Richard!!!)

Best GLBT Weblog: Scott-O-Rama

(Congratulations Scott!!!)

We all thank you for your votes!

Mark is the Winner & New Link

Let's all congratulate Mark, who found me very speedily; must be he has an eye for sexy blogger bodies. As promised, here is my review of his blog, Sexy Gay Blogger of the Day.

I just love Mark's blog. I had to read the whole thing in one sitting as it is just that much fun. He shows a photo of the blogger, names the blog(s), writes a creative and very complimentary fantasy about himself and the blogger, and lists the vital statistics of the blogger. My favorite thing is reading the fantasies for bloggers that I am familiar with. For example: Alex, Jared, Stratis, and Brenton. Also, I "met" lots of sexy gay bloggers that I had previously not known about. Mark only started blogging in July 2006. So go check out his blog and see if there is anybody you know featured already or you can nominate someone to be a sexy gay blogger of the day. It's easy. The instructions are right here. As Mark says at the end of each post:

Keep on blogging Mark - I can't get enough of you!

I have also linked him on my side bar.

Who is Fair View Sue (Winner Announced) & Thanks to Brenton

HAPPY
BIRTHDAY
BRENTON!!!

First I would like to thank Brenton for featuring me in a post of my very own! Don't you think that is sweet of him? I do! He is to die for cute too. Seen any of his half nekkid Thursdays? They are yummielicious.

Secondly, you may wonder, just who is this Fair View Sue? What does she look like? While in general I wish to remain anonymous, I chose my screen identity because it might as well be me. I found the photo on google and my twin sister, Evie, thought that it was me in one of my Speedos doing my synchronized swimming. I guess you could say that if it was good enough to fool my very own twin, it looks a lot like me.

But, there is one actual photo of me on this very blog. So, if you find it, let me know the date or title of the post, and what I am doing in the photo. In return, I will post your name and about you (if you are a blogger) and repost the photo.

Now, Brenton, no fair - you already know. Sneak. Got me to tell when you were secretly preparing your post. You can't play (this game that is!).

******************************

And the winner is Mark. Congratulations Mark! See the post about his blog on Sunday.

Yup. This is me feeding a southern stingray off of the Cayman Islands. As you can see, it is a good sized beast whose wing span had to be at least six feet. That is why I was so surprized that Steve Irwin was killed by one of these gentle giants.

Friday Fantasy - The Lifeguard

I was vacationing off Cape Cod and swimming on a nude beach when the surf suddenly got very rough. A rip tide formed and quickly pulled me way out into the water. Being an old beach bum, I stayed calm and went with it, then swam steadily to the side to get out of it. My sure strokes stopped when I got a walloping leg cramp. I could not control my leg at all as it spasmed. I stopped swimming and tried to massage my aching limb, but to no avail. I wasn't going to drown by any means, but there was no way I could swim all the way back to the beach the way I was. I looked up, and the life guard was already on his way out to me.

When he got to me he was very polite and reassuring. He put his strong arm across my shoulders and pulled me all the way into the beach. Once there he did what he could to massage my leg and it really seemed to help. I think I will still need some physical therapy though.

So the question now is how do I reward him? He says it is all part of his job, but I feel that reciprocity is forthcoming. Don't you?

********

And the winner is: BRENTON

Brenton's weekend brain thought that this was a real scenario. Silly boy! He got so hot over the photo and scenario that he posted about it here. One of his commenters knows the guy in the photo and provided his myspace address (see comments on this blog or Brenton's). Now, confusing my fantasy for reality, that's what I call a winner. Hehehe.
