I almost bought the first book in this series this week, but decided against it for the moment. I'm intrigued by it: the Catholic League or someone of their icky ilk, I believe, has their knickers in a twist about this book/film; apparently the author is not too fond of Catholicism and makes no bones about it in the book. So naturally I'm going to have to read it.
Doug - Maybe your library has them. That is how I read them. That way you get them for free. Read the whole trilogy, it is worth it to understand what is going on. The movie only covers the first book.
